Im so nervous and scared about having my picture taken - i never feel confident infront of the camera but im trying to work on that + embrace how i look no matter what the angle or how me face looks

this weekend is hard to put into words for a few different reasons 🫶🏼

remember - what you see online is NEVER the whole picture!!!

Everything can be masked with good posing, good angles, good lighting and editing apps (which is far too easy to access btw)

So don’t be fooled while you’re scrolling through insta. You will most often just see a snapshot of what someone wants to show you, showing off their best angles, so don’t compare your reality to what’s online!!!

been going through my archived post and found the picture on the left, early 2020 before all gyms closed 💀

i wasn’t fuelling my body properly, I wasn’t training to failure or pushing myself - I was just .. going to the gym with no REAL goal

it wasn’t my safe space, it wasn’t something to help with my mental health (at that time anyway) - it was just something I enjoyed doing

it’s my hobby, it’s something im good at and will be part of my life forever

I want to show other people that maybe don’t have to have a deep a reason to go to the gym, just go because it’s FUN
