Our perfect start to the season continues in the EBA league!

7 wins from 7 games after a fantastic win against Wymondham Dell B sets us up nicely in the league table!

Mundford Bowls Club also dropped 4 points against a strong Dereham St Nicholas side which means our gap at the top grows!

A break for us next week but we go again in July! 🔥

Tonight, we continued our impressive start to the season in this new league to us.

The team have been brilliant so far and picked up points week in, week out!

WHAT A DAY!

A massive thank you to Sue and Jo for greeting our visitors for today in an important annual event for our club.

For the 3rd consecutive year, we’ve had a group of men from Sussex visit us for a weekend roll up event.

It was a lovely day and thank you to the guys for coming down once again, it’s a pleasure to host every year!

RESULTS!

It’s a mixed bag of results today as our Shipdham players are once again in action.

Dean Rudling featured once again for Norfolk playing at number 3 to David Lamb and securing a draw on their rink. Sadly Norfolk lost overall at County Arts.

At the same time, Peter, Ray, Graham and Colin featured in the senior 4s today as they lost at home to Wymondham’s rink featuring Alan Willer.

Great effort from our guys on a busy weekend for the club.

Mixed results over the past 2 days in the EBA comps.

Yesterday was a narrow defeat to Hempton Bowls Club in the Fermoy against a strong side.

Tonight was a different story after a narrow win against our close friends at Mundford Bowls Club.

Well done and hard luck for our guys over the past 2 nights 👍🏼

A massive result in the league for us tonight making it 6 wins from 6!

We JUST dodged the rain in an 8-2 victory with 2 rinks going down to the last Bowl… one of which went our way… one of which didn’t!

A massive win by Bernadette, Roger, Derek and Miffy again means we clinch the overall and sn**ch an important victory which extends our lead at the top by 6 points.

A throughly enjoyable game and a great win for the team 🔵🟡

RESULT ✅

Another enjoyable evening as Roger, Richard and Dean claim victory over Wymondham Dell Bowls Club in the county triples tonight.

3 games being played which made for a great atmosphere and the Green played well!

A comfortable win in the end which saw the game finish after 13 ends and the lads progress into the next round against a team from Watton Loch Neaton Bowls Club.

RESULT ✅

It’s 5 wins from 5 tonight as we claim a narrow win over a strong Dereham St Nicholas side this evening.

Miffy with 2 huge bowls on the last end to win their rink and a solid rink win by Richard Bowen and team sees us keep top spot for another week as we approach a huge game next Wednesday.

A frustrating defeat on one rink against St Nichs’ strongest rink but the other boys did enough to carry the team over the line!

Great turnout as ever, thanks to everyone for showing up! 🔵🟡

A few changes tonight as Shipdham host Dereham St Nicholas.

Would you believe it… we are 2 weeks away from being half way through the EBA fixtures.

Can we make it 5 wins from 5 or will St Nichs prove too touch to beat!
