At Shifnal Girls FC, we want every girl to have the best possible start to their football journey ❤️

Our FA Wildcats pathway is designed for girls who are:

❤️ Brand new to football
❤️ Just starting their football journey
❤️ Looking to build confidence
❤️ Wanting to learn and have fun in a relaxed environment

⚽️ Our focus is simple:

⚽️ Building confidence
⚽️ Learning fundamental football skills
⚽️ Creating positive first experiences

There’s no pressure, no selection and no competition — just a safe, supportive environment where girls can enjoy themselves, make friends and fall in love with football.

And when they’re ready, they can naturally progress into our Lionesses Saturday teams 🦁⚽️

For us, this pathway is all about getting those early experiences right, building confidence and giving every girl the opportunity to thrive from the very beginning. ❤️

What better way for our U12 Panthers to finish off a tough Saturday morning than with a well-earned McDonald’s! 😋

Even better, it was great to see some of our younger Shifnal Girls teams in there too. The girls were all mixing together, chatting about their Saturday mornings, their games and their football journeys. ⚽️❤️🖤

From our youngest players looking up to the older girls, to the older girls encouraging the next generation — this is what Shifnal Girls FC is all about.

It’s more than just football. It’s friendships, memories, experiences and girls supporting girls all the way through their journey. 🥰⚽️

❤️🖤 MORE THAN JUST PLAYERS. MORE THAN JUST FOOTBALL. ⚽️

What a brilliant example of teamwork, responsibility and club spirit from our Shifnal Girls Lions U13s today! 👏

The parents & coaches rocked up early and, with the pitch grass a little too long, they didn’t just stand around waiting… they got stuck in! 💪

🌱 Helping mow the pitch
📏 Getting the lines marked out
🚩 Setting up the pitch and everything needed for match day
🤝 Working together to get everything ready

And as if that wasn’t enough… they even made sure the team had homemade chocolate brownies waiting for them after the game! 🍫😋

These are the moments that make us proud.

Because football isn’t just about goals, assists, tackles and results. It’s about turning up for each other, taking responsibility, helping out and creating memories together.

The girls might be the ones wearing the shirts on a Sunday, but they’re showing what it really means to be Shifnal Girls ❤️🖤

It’s not just about what happens for 60 minutes on the pitch…

It’s the girls arriving together, getting stuck in, setting up the goals, putting the flags out and making sure everything is ready for game day. 💪

Everyone plays a part. Everyone helps. Everyone belongs.

Because being part of Shifnal Girls isn’t just about scoring goals, making tackles or making saves…

It’s about TEAMWORK. 🫶

⚽️ Saturday morning football is about so much more than the goals, saves and tackles. ❤️🖤

It’s the parents and players who turn up early to put the goals up, get the corner flags out and set up the respect barrier.

It’s the parents who run the line, step up and don the Respect Marshal jacket, helping make sure our games are played in the right spirit. 👏

It’s the little things you don’t always see… the fist bumps 🤜🤛, the team huddles, the words of encouragement and, of course, those end-of-game dances! 💃🕺

It’s friendships, teamwork, community and memories that will last far beyond the final whistle.

Because football isn’t just about what happens on the pitch. It’s everything that happens around it. ❤️🖤⚽️
