ANNUAL PAST CAPTAINS MATCH V MATLOCK GC

The 33rd renewal of the 'President's Trophy', an annual match between the Past Captain's of Shifnal Golf Club and Matlock Golf Club took place at Matlock on Monday.

We are delighted to announce that Shifnal managed to retain the trophy they won last year, following a 4.5 - 1.5 win on Monday.

The Men's Captain, Nick Elwiss, and our Professional, Josh Charnock, are pictured left with their counterparts from Matlock.

Next year's match will take place back at Shifnal.

Well done everybody who took part in the match.

Congratulations to Shifnal member Nick Evans on winning the Burdass Trophy

The Burdass Trophy Spring Trophy was held at Llanymynech GC over 36 holes.
The winner was Nick Evans with scores 71+71 142 gross
2nd place Tom King 143 gross
3rd Sam Roberts 145 gross
4th Ryan Greenwood 146gross
5th Jay Showell 149gross

Just wanted to share a photo of our Juniors last week using the new all
Weather Tee. Thanks to Chris and his team who have put a lot of work into developing this for Shifnal Golf Club. It has provided an excellent facility which enhanced our juniors golfing skills. Thanks to SLCGA, SHUGC and The 100 Club for enabling this to happen. ⛳️
