Orrell RUFC The Home of Rugby Union in Orrell, proudly celebrating 100 years of Orrell RUFC — 1927–2027. Keeping the Future Black and Amber

A great and fun community club based in Orrell with a long and proud history. We currently have a great 1XV team that play each Saturday in the North West 2 Division. The club also offers "TickNPass" fitness and wellbeing sessions for those wishing to just keep fit and active and meet people socially. The club also has a growing Mini and Junior Section offering grassroots rugby training, fitness and friendship to both boys and girls from age 6 upwards.

🖤💛 A BIG WEEKEND AHEAD FOR ORRELL RUFC MINI & JUNIORS! 💛🖤

Excitement is building as our Orrell Tags prepare for their very first game this Sunday! 🏉 What a milestone for our youngest players, and we can’t wait to see them take to the pitch and begin their rugby journey.

They’ll be travelling to Burnage alongside our U15s, who face a Lancashire Challenge Cup Round 3 fixture. It promises to be a fantastic morning of rugby, with our youngest and older players representing Orrell with pride.

🖤 Orrell Tags – Away at Burnage for their first-ever game!

💛 U10s – Fixture to be confirmed

🖤 U11s – Home vs Preston Grasshoppers, 11.00am KO

💛 U13s – Home vs Widnes

🖤 U15s – Away at Burnage, Lancashire Challenge Cup Round 3, 11.00am KO

And there’s even more to look forward to! 🖤💛 Our newly formed U12s are also counting down to a special milestone as they prepare for their first-ever game on Sunday 15 November at 11.00am, when they take part in the Lancashire Festival. We can’t wait to see this new team get started!

Before the weekend action, we’re looking forward to seeing everyone at M&J training tonight from 6.00pm at St John Rigby College. Another chance to learn, develop skills, build friendships and enjoy being part of the Orrell family.

Keeping the Future Black & Amber. 🖤💛
