Lots of great junior rugby played today with 4 games in total - Blues x 2 vs Folly Lane, and Reds x 2 vs Culcheth

Our two U8 teams are really getting into their stride now and embracing being Blues & Reds, and it’s fantastic to see so much fun being had by all - the season is almost at an end but next year is looking bright already! 🔵🔴🦈

Fantastic morning for the Reds with 2 games vs Woolston Rovers Greens.
They showed off some brilliant rugby in both games with lightning line speed, strong tackles, and brilliant offloads.
Great teamwork from everyone and lots of smiles and fun all round!

The Blues put on a fast-paced, evenly matched performance today against Leigh Miners!

Solid defence from both sides kept the scoreboard tight, while some brilliant passing moves showed the hard work that’s been happening in training.

Plenty of positives to take away, and lots still to build on as we look to bring even more of that training-session magic into our game

Big news from our U8’s squad… We now have 2 teams taking to the field each Sunday! 🦈

We’re still all “Shevington Sharks U8’s” and will train, team build and celebrate together… but from this weekend on game days you’ll be able to see our Blues and Reds both in action - how fantastic to have such demand to join the sharks fun! 🔵🔴🦈

It’s good to be back!! 🎉

Not quite a full squad just yet, but 15 eager sharks took to the field tonight and considering they’ve been off school and out of routine for 6 weeks they did amazingly well!! Coach Christian even described it as a “calm, enjoyable session” (famous last words next week maybe… 😂)

Well done everyone!!
