Hi, we are a women's and girls soft ball cricket team who are here to encourage you to get out in the fresh air and get active in a fun and friendly environment. We are part of Sherborne Cricket Club and have fantastic links with both the men's and youth section, which means the whole family have an opportunity to play. We are inclusive and welcoming, open to women of all ages, abilities and skill

levels. Whether you are completely new to cricket, or you want to improve your current skills we are here to support you. Sherborne Silks emphasis is on having fun and creating a friendly community that supports each other and inspires others to get involved. So, whether you want to get more active, connect with others, develop your skills, learn something new, or want to support others, you are all very welcome.

🏏What a great reboot for Sherborne Silks🩵🩷💛

A huge thank you to everyone who played, supported and helped make our first Sherborne Silks Women & Girls match back such an inspiring and special evening.

And what a result to start us off with — we won! 🎉🏏

Yesterday was about more than the score, though. It was the beginning of something we're really excited about.

PLAY • BELONG • GROW

And now we're looking forward to keeping it going through the autumn and winter with indoor sessions for women and girls — getting active, having fun and building a community together.

The Silks are BACK! 🏏 After a few years off the pitch, the Sherborne Silks Women & Girls team is returning to action. Next Friday, 28th August, we are taking on a local side at Sherborne Cricket Club for our first match back.
Our club is built on three simple words: Play, Belong, Grow. Whether you want the fast pace of hardball or the relaxed, fun vibe of soft ball cricket, there is a place for you here.
Come down, enjoy a Friday evening at the club, and cheer on the squad!

Entry: Free! Come and celebrate the return of women's cricket to Sherborne.
