One of our lovely families has kindly shared this video of their little Turtle enjoying the pool on holiday, and we couldn't be prouder! 🐢💦

He has just turned 4 years old and is now swimming independently - what an amazing achievement!

His parents sent this message along with the video:
"Hey Terri, I wanted to send you a video of 'O' swimming on our holiday as he is doing so well, and we have Turtle Tots to thank for that!"

Watching our little Turtles grow in confidence and develop such fantastic swimming skills is honestly one of the most rewarding parts of what we do 🥰

Say hello to Danielle, our amazing teacher at Godolphin School on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays!

Not only is she fully qualified to teach your little ones (holding her STA Level 2 in Baby & Preschool swimming, Safety Award, and Safeguarding certs), but she also brings the absolute best energy to the pool. Her absolute favourite activity? Getting everyone giggling with "jelly on a plate" on the big mat! 🍮

On dry land, Danielle is a total bookworm who loves hiking and paddleboarding.

If she's your teacher, give her an extra big wave at your next lesson! 👋💚

Getting ready for your little one's first swimming lesson?

A little preparation goes a long way in helping them feel confident and comfortable...

⭐ Chat about swimming in a fun, upbeat way
⭐ Encourage water play at bath time, like splashing or gently pouring water on their face
⭐ Let them try on their swim outfit (and goggles if they’re using them!) beforehand
⭐ Bring along a favourite comfort toy for reassurance
⭐ Arrive with extra time so there’s no rush and they can settle in nicely
⭐ If you’re feeling calm, they will too - little ones follow your lead
⭐ Celebrate afterwards - a “well done” and a big cuddle goes a long way

If you’re joining us at Stourview Pool or Royal Chase, you’ll be seeing plenty of one of our fantastic swim teachers Sophie! 🐢💦

Sophie brings a wealth of expertise to the poolside to keep your little ones safe, confident, and smiling... She holds her STA Level 2 Awards in Teaching Swimming, Safety, and Aquatic Teaching, alongside her Baby & Preschool Diploma and full Safeguarding certification! ✨

Sophie loves making our lessons fun and memorable - her favourite pool moment is singing “Pop Goes the Weasel” and popping balls under the water! 🎶💦

Back on dry land, she enjoys a delicious Biscoff milkshake and spending the day at the beach 🌞🏖️
