A few of my clients are enjoying padwork boxing as their warm up / finishers πŸ₯Š

It's great stress relief and highly energizing. No matter what state you're in boxing will lift you

Enjoy your weekend

New 10k PB βœ…

Last long run of the year before I return to the safety of the gym

This really hurt, I couldn't of given more

Nice to test yourself occasionally though

How anyone run 3 or 4 minute kilometers I don't know. I take my hat off to them

Electrolytes are my friend 🀣

So pleased to have ticked off a half marathon

Thank you to my friend Martin for accompanying me and keeping the conversation flowing

I wanted to do it in under 2 hours and with the help of my Garmin whispering in my ear we achieved 1:58 πŸ…

Could have gone a bit faster but the goal was to finish without getting cramp in my calves (like my last event)

great event

Digital well-being

Humans weren't ready for phones

We all probably spend more time on our phones than we should

It saps our energy and our time 😴

Here's a few things I've done to reduce my screen time recently:

- delete any apps that aren't absolutely essential
- set timers on apps in your settings so that they close themselves when you hit your limit
- set yourself a screen unlocks goal. This can't be done on your phone but you can check it in your settings

I was unlocking my phone 80 times a day, now it's around 40,if I go over 50 I do a long plank, which is motivation enough πŸ˜‚

Reach out if you need help cutting down on screen time πŸ™

The first photo is a lie

I'm smiling but I'm in agony, and immediately after I jumped this fire I experienced the worst calve cramp of my life

I was having a great time up until the 15km mark. Nailed most of the obstacles.

Then my legs decided they couldn't carry me any further. Felt heavy as led and constantly spasming

Glad I could push my way over the first line. Albeit slower than last year

If you do hard things you sometimes experience pain. But great for building resilience and plenty of positives to take from it

Already booked next year's 🀣

Finished my plank challenge with 5 minutes

Felt like my body was being ripped apart

Not my strongest exercise

But this was about resilience and I'm glad I kept it up day after day πŸ’ͺ

Also got 30 other people involved in the challenge, so proud of all of them πŸ™Œ

It's good to test your motivation occasionally, doing something you hate every single day is a good way to test it

Little wins
