What do you think of when the word 'bike fitting' is mentioned?
Do you think it is only reserved for pro or competitive athletes?
Perhaps you think that those new to cycling would benefit?
Or that those with injuries or problems require a bike fit?
The truth is that every one of us who rides a bike can benefit from a bike fit.
It doesn't matter if you're looking for improvement in performance or biomechanics.
Or seeking to minimise risk of injury. Finding a solution to pain, niggles or discomfort.
Or wanting to be certain that your bike choice is the right one and it fits.
I've spent years studying, researching and understanding bike fitting and biomechanics.
I also understand that there is NOT a one fits all approach to bike fitting.
Many claim to offer bike fit solutions, however many fail to deliver the right outcome for their clients.
First of all, you should see a bike fit as an investment in your health, and performance.
Ensuring that you are able to enjoy your cycling for as long into the future as possible.
Below are some examples of flexibility, along with some other data we gather to help us to determine the right bike fit for YOU.
At GTC Bike Fitting we deliver bike fits to meet your needs and not a standard. We are all unique, which means YOUR bike fit should be unique too!
So before you consider your choice of bike fitter, ask around, get advice and look for recommendations. And most importantly find a bike fitter that will deliver a bike fit that is RIGHT FOR YOU.
All of our bike fits are completed at Grand Tor Cycling, a bike shop totally customer focused bike shop, producing custom bike builds, bikes, parts, accessories, servicing and repairs.
