We did it! 200 Guides and Rangers took to the water and got to try kayaking, giant paddle boarding, raft building and powerboating during our epic weekend at Paxmead. We could not have done it without 1st Walton Viking Sea Scouts and the huge team of volunteers (42 in total!!) Thanks to everyone involved making amazing memories.

Our lovely pizza oven doesn't like to sit idle so we are offering pizza oven hire for just £30 this Autumn term. Why not plan an evening at Paxmead making and cooking your own pizzas?

We have full instructions on how to use the oven and it's not as hard as you might think! If savoury pizza is not your thing you can can cook pretty much anything in the oven - perhaps its time someone invented the pizza S'more or perhaps autumn apple pies?

The first day of our Pirates of Paxmead weekend is in full swing! Brownies are enjoying pirate themed crafts, activities, and games and a voyage on the Thames on the Giant paddleboards. Such an amazing atmosphere as the pan for treasure, climb the rigging, make maps and pirate hat pizzas.

They did it! Our four new recruits completed the two day Paddle UK Paddlesport instructor course. They will be a huge asset for the Paxmead Paddlesport team, helping us to give more young people great experiences on the water. Well done to all of them!

If your Guide or Ranger would like to try paddleboarding. Paxmead has a brilliant introduction to paddleboarding course in the Summer holidays. 6:30pm - 8:30pm on Thursday July 23rd for girls 11 and over.
