As expected,along with the heatwave,the carp have begun their thing!

We shall close the lake and let them have some peace.

We’ll announce the restart when we feel they’ve recuperated.

Matt Griffin caught this lovely 21.12 mirror yesterday afternoon.
It’s one of the ‘simmos super stockies’ that we added.In total,there were 13 commons and 19 mirrors and if they continue to come out looking like this…then,as we knew,they’re a great addition to the lake.
