🏌️‍♂️VACANCY - ASSISTANT GREENKEEPER/GREENKEEPER LABOURER🏌️‍♂️

An opportunity has arisen to join the Greenkeeping team at Sunbury Golf, in the position of Assistant Greenkeeper/Greenkeeper Labourer. The position is full-time, (40 hours per week), and a flexible approach is required along with some weekend work, according to a rota system.

The main duties include but are not restricted to:

Assisting the team in all aspects of greenkeeping, including: cutting all playing surfaces, changing holes, setting up golf course for play, preparing bunkers.
Ensuring that the course is presented in the best possible condition to exceed the expectations of members and visitors alike
Assisting with construction, renovation and aeration works
Able to safely operate a wide range of golf course machinery
Undertake specific training on machinery and other working practices
The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

A very strong work ethic, coupled with excellent time keeping
A positive team player who has equal ability to work productively on their own
Have an excellent attention to detail
To always look for improvements and to work with care and consideration of equipment
Complete tasks in line with Health and Safety regulations
Have golfing experience
Mechanical experience, (desirable but not essential)
Relevant greenkeeping experience or qualifications (desirable but not essentialist)

The salary is dependent on experience and qualifications. Training can be provided for the right candidate if no experience.
