Well, if you really want to work out the day before your wedding we have to mix it up a bit. Circuits with balloons, if you pop one, you do 5 burpees.

In the midst of our busy lives exercising together offers us ‘me time’, a chance to focus on ourselves but also the friendships we have made so that we can destress and have fun while we challenge ourselves and each other.

Not a New Year’s Resolution post: I don’t advocate self loathing.

Through my own fitness journey I have found ‘I can do hard things’ in the gym translates to real life and as a PT I have experience working with clients with a variety of goals, needs and limitations.

Whatever your personal goal, my aim is for you to feel accomplished and empowered to make your health a lasting priority. May you actually find joy in movement.

Something that would have scared me a year ago. I’ve been swimming at through the summer to mix up my exercise.
Last night I joined a large group of swimmers for a late night swim in aid of Princess Alice Hospice.

Love Parkrun.

As I marvel at the mix of people up and at it 2 days before Christmas it’s a reminder fitness isn’t a size or number. It’s multifaceted, strength, speed, agility, mobility, nutrition and mental health.

I believe pushing yourself to lift heavy things in a gym environment gives you a sense of confidence that translates into everyday life.
