Thee clubs interest in the men's county pairs finished when Martin and Connor lost 23 shots to 6 at Maulden last night.

Only one game today when Kay travels to Maulden to play J Jennings in the county singles at 6-30.

The midweek triples game at Barton and tonight's men's two rink county league game at Meltis have both been cancelled due to the weather.

Yesterday saw Janet, Kay and Wendy play for the county against Hertfordshire.

Special day for Wendy as she received her colts badge from past president Pauline Bright.

Both ladies club games were called off yesterday because of the heat. Different weather in the evening with a heavy shower coming down around the 14th end.

Excellent night for the men in the EBL with all three winning teams winning.

The A team won their top of table clash beating Potton A by 40 shots to 37.

Colin, Martin and Connor won 25 shots to 15

Jim, Richard and Mike S lost 15 shots to 22

The B team travelled to play Holwell in a clash of the bottom two in division 3 and came away with a 48 shots to 28 win.

Steve C, Dave Allen and Andrew won 31 shots to 13

Andy, Gary and Mike E won 17 shots to 15.

The C team were at home to top of the table Flitwick A in division four and came away with a very close win by 34 shots to 33.

Paul, Keith and John lost 14 shots to 19

Alan, Barry and Bob won 20 shots to 14

Both ladies EBL games tonight have been postponed due to the weather.

However the men's pairs team of Martin and Connor travel to play a side at Maulden in the men's county pairs with a 6pm start.

Stephane plays Libby in 2 woods at 2pm

Connie plays Margaret B in 4 woods at 6pm.

No game yesterday and vital games in the men's EBL today all at 6pm. Supporters would be most welcome.

The A team are at home to Potton A in the top of the table clash in division two.

The other side of things sees the B team travel to Holwell in a clash of the bottom two in division three.

Finally the C team currently fourth in division four take on current league leaders Flitwick A at home.

Results from yesterdays games.

Zak playing his first ever county singles got the club of to an excellent start by winning 21 shots to 12 at Linslade. He now goes on to play L Munt (Luton Town) in the next round.

The ladies lost at Stotfold by 29 shots to 16, with the game stopping after 14 ends.

Cyrena, Carole, Connie and Janet won 10 shots to 9

Marget B, Stephane, Wendy and Shay lost 6 shots to 20.

Better result for the men when they entertained Hitchin Town in a four rink triples game and won by 89 shots to 57. The club supplied Hitchin with three members to make the numbers up.

Steve C, Bob and Gary won 33 shots to 6

Andy, Colin and Mike E won 23 shots to 15

Zak, Barry R and Richard lost 9 shots to 18

Alan, John and Aaron won 24 shots to 18

No game today as the Captains day event was cancelled and moved to the 26th July as the ladies captain was not available.

Martin and Connor progressed to the next round of the county pairs last night when they beat a pair from Langford by 21 shots to 8. They now travel to Maulden in the next round on Tuesday at 6pm.

This morning Zak travels to Linslade in the county singles for a 10am start, good luck.

Kay is playing at Sandy Con this morning representing the county in the johns Trophy.

This afternoon the ladies travel to Stotfold for a two rink game at 2pm.

The men are also in action and are at home to Hitchin Town in a four rink triples game at 2-30.

Yesterday the ladies entertain Wilstead and won by 46 shots to 23

Carole, Connie and Janet won 26 shot to 11

Angela, Margaret B, Stephane and Libby won 20 shots to 12

Tonight sees the next round of the county men's pairs competition.
The club last pair Martin and Connor take on a pair from Langford at home at 6pm.

Better results yesterday for the club.

In the afternoon the midweek triples team beat Langford by 88 shots to 67.

Angela, Maureen and Gary won 25 shots to 5

Stephane, Keith G and Barry R (1) lost 16 shots to 20

Barry R (2), Steve C and Aaron won 21 shots to 12

Carole, Barry A and Bob lost 13 shots to 18

Ann, Connie and Derek won 18 shots to 8.

In the evening in an exciting finish the club won by 32 shots to 31.

Colin, John, Aaron and Connor lost 13 shots to 18

Mike E, Dave Att, Richard and Martin won 19 shots to 13.

This afternoon the ladies entertain wilstead in a three rink triples game at 2-30.

Mainly a disappointing night for the men with four out of the five losing in the county pairs. On the plus side Martin and Connor won at Dunstable by 21 shots to 12 and are now at home on Friday to a pair from Langford.

Dave Allen & Mike E went out losing 19 shots to 15 against a pair from Maulden.

Zak & Gary lost at home by 25 shots to 5 against a pair from Stotfold.

Jim & Aaron went to Maulden and lost 25 shots to 15.

Finally Richard & Mike S travelled to Houghton Regis and lost by 15 shots to 7.

The ladies A team had another win in the EBL division three by beating Flitwick A by 55 shots to 12 to make it five wins out of five.

Cyrena, Janet and Kay won 31 shots to 4

Wendy, Sandra and Shay won 24 shots to 8

Todays fixtures weather permitting sees the midweek triples in a five rink mixed triples game against Langford at home with a 2pm start.

In the evening the men play in the county two rink league at home to Sandy Con at 6pm.
