Everyone at Shefford Saints Juniors official is wishing Alan a speedy recovery. Thank you to everyone that has already reached and sent their well wishes.

We hope to hear you back on the mic very soon 🤍

The club sends it's best wishes and thoughts and prayers to 'The Voice of Shefford' Sir Alan Williams.

Alan has been our match day announcer and club committee member for a few years now, he has sponsored many players in his time with the club and is a big part of who we are.

He was today found by some of our club committee members in his home and has been taken to hospital. Our prayers and wishes are with him and his family.

A huge thanks to the Police, Ambulance and Fire service who all responded, his neighbours who all rallied around and to ex committee member Lasse Hammer who helped raise the initial alert and was one of the first on scene.

Alan you are one of our own and we wish you all the strength and prayer you need to get well as quickly as possible.

Our experienced coaches place a strong emphasis on both individual development and teamwork, creating a positive environment in which players can learn, improve and enjoy their football.

Alongside the weekly team session, we offer an additional hour of dedicated goalkeeper training every week — at no extra cost.
