Captain’s Note - Jhangir Ahmed

This weekend is another exciting one for Norton Woodseats Cricket Club and a great reflection of how far we’ve come as a club. The strength and depth of our squad continues to grow, and it’s fantastic to see so many players competing for places every week.

We have three senior fixtures to look forward to. The 1st XI are away, the 2nd XI host Sheffield Medics in a big home fixture, and on Sunday our Wildcats take on Norton Oakes as they continue to build on an excellent first season.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the club—our players, volunteers, families and supporters. Whether you’re on the pitch or cheering from the boundary, your support makes a huge difference.

Good luck to all three teams. Let’s represent Norton Woodseats CC with pride.
