Some of the dancers I admire most have never won the biggest title.
They aren't the ones everyone remembers from the awards ceremony.
They're the ones who came back after disappointment.
The ones who kept training after missing the team.
After not getting the solo.
After standing on stage while someone else's name was called.
Because showing up after success is easy.
Showing up after your heart is broken is where character is built.
I wish our industry celebrated resilience as loudly as it celebrates trophies.
Because if dance has taught me anything...
it's that consistency changes lives far more often than one perfect day ever could.
Keep showing up.
Someone needs to see what perseverance looks like.
