🎉 WORTLEY RUFC TIDY UP DAY – WE NEED YOU! 🏉🧹
📅 Date: Saturday 9th August
🕘 Time: From 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Wortley Rugby Club

The new season is just around the corner, and it’s time to get our club looking match ready! 💪

We’re calling on players, parents, supporters, and friends to roll up your sleeves and join us for a Tidy Up Day – and whether you've got half an hour or a whole morning, your help matters.

Bring what you can:
🔧 Paint brushes, rollers
🌿 Strimmers, hedge cutters
🧤 Gardening gloves
🧽 Buckets, cloths, cleaning supplies
🛠️ General tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.)

There’ll be jobs for every age and ability – from painting and weeding to general clean-up. Let's give the place a fresh shine and show some pride in our club!

☕ Tea, coffee & biscuits provided – because all good work deserves a treat.

Wortley Women return for preseason training on 13th July. We’re looking forward to building on last season and are looking for new players. No experience necessary.

💥 What to expect:
• Fun training sessions
• Inner Warrior games and festivals
• Great team spirit & club atmosphere
• A chance to be part of an amazing and supportive group of women

Whether you’re an experienced player or completely new, all abilities are welcome.

1, 2, miss a few, 99, 100 Club!

Wortley RUFC is introducing a 100 club, open to all Men’s, Women’s and Junior (parents/guardians) members.

For the price of a pint of beer or a posh coffee a month, you can support the club as it looks to improve its facilities for players and supporters.

There are monthly cash prizes as well as other cash draws throughout the year.
