Summer League Teams Knockout sponsored by Allied Snooker Centre

C Division Wadsley Bridge took on B Division Allied DH in the final last week at the sponsors venue Allied Snooker Centre

Joe Markie got Allied DH off to a flyer beating Ian Hinchcliffe in the opening frame

Wadsley Bridge bounced straight back however as Paul Smith beat TJ Breeze to level the match

Andy Green then put Wadsley bridge 2-1 up taking down Jason Evans-Bates to put them on the brink of cup glory

Allied DH’s Curtis Froggatt however had other ideas, his frame win against Darren Bull levelled the match and sent it to a decider

Steve Swirles was up for Allied DH against Russ Lemm from Wadsley Bridge

A close frame that went to the final colours, and it was Russ that held firm to win the frame and the Teams Knockout for Wadsley Bridge

Congratulations to them and commiserations to Allied DH

YORKSHIRE INTER-DISTRICT LEAGUE 2026/27

Sheffield 1 begin their season campaign in the first division of the Yorkshire Inter-district League this Sunday with the first away fixture in the season at Harrogate 1.

The Sheffield 1 squad is
David Whitby, Jason Evans-Bates and Gareth Wilmott making his first appearance as a regular player.

The venue is Harrogate Conservative Club, 57 East Parade, Harrogate HG1 5LQ
Results will follow shortly.

YORKSHIRE INTER-DISTRICT LEAGUE 2026/27

The local match on Thursday 10th September sees the opening match in Division One between defending Champions, Sheffield 2 and newly promoted Sheffield 3 at sponsors venue, Allied Snooker Centre.

The Sheffield 2 squad is
William Lemons, Shaun Wilkes and John Large making his first appearance as a regular player.

The challengers representing Sheffield 3 are
Dave Pagett, Reece Matin and Mason Wilson.

The referee is Rod Eaton
