Preseason is underway and the Stocksbridge Park Steels Ladies are back playing the sport they love. 💛💙

Training is going really well with some new players and some excellent quality on show. The group is shaping up nicely.

We are now looking for sponsors to help support the team this season.

Player sponsors are a massive help. Sponsoring an individual player directly reduces their subs and makes a real difference.

We are also looking for a team sponsor to support new training kit. Team sponsors get lots of mentions on our social media and have their logo printed on the kit.

Stocksbridge Park Steels Ladies are looking for new players for the 2026/27 season. 💛💙

We finished 2nd in Open Age Division 1 last season and had a strong run to the 3rd Qualifying Round of the Women’s FA Cup. We are a highly competitive team that also has a lot of fun together, including our popular TikToks.

Open training begins Tuesday 9th June and continues every Tuesday evening. 📆

📍 Training venue: Thorncliffe United, St George’s Park Thorncliffe, Pack Horse Lane, High Green, Sheffield, S35 3HY

🕢 Tuesdays | 20:00 start

We play our home games at Bracken Moor Stadium with excellent facilities and a brilliant matchday atmosphere. 🏟️

The final award of the season is the Players’ Player award! The one voted for by all her teammates.

What a season from the CB, pure leadership, passion and commitment! Bethan gave everything all season and brings out the best of all her teammates. It’s great to see this recognised by so many in the team!

The next award is the coaches player as voted for by Aaron, Sean, Scott and Joey!

The winner went to Anna Davis who came new to the squad in preseason as a quiet player with all the skill in the world!

Anna grew into the squad, quickly becoming a key player and making her mark in every match! With this came her confidence and also got recognised for the Tik Tok Star of the Season!

The fans player of the season was all organised by the super fan Steve Kirk! Huge thank you Steve for watching every week and collecting the fans opinion and collecting top 3 votes every single week! Steve also donated the sponsor for the awards, so thank you very much!

With just 5 points separating first and fifth, this award really went down to the wire!

The congratulations goes out both Jenna McGee and Sam Woodham who both had dominating seasons in the centre of midfield! Well done both 💪

A fantastic night to celebrate a fantastic season!

It was so good to see so many players and fans to come together at Bracken Moor Sports and Social Club!

Remembering the whole season from the pre-season friendlies, FA Cup run and a roller coaster of a league in the SHWGL, it’s been a fantastic season for the ladies and we cannot wait for the next one!

It’s not long until preseason begins and Stocksbridge Park Steels Ladies are looking to get organised with friendlies.

We play in the SHWGL Open Age League 1 and shall be looking for opponents to help get prepared for the season.

We would be looking to play the majority of our friendlies away due to pitch renovation during preseason at Bracken Moor.
