Really happy and proud of LEP Fitness client Elliot for the results he’s achieved
The interesting thing about Elliot’s transformation is that he wasn’t starting from a place of doing nothing...
He was already training 3 times per week
He enjoyed running, cycling and using his Peloton...
His cardiovascular fitness was already good
The problem was that despite years of consistent cardio and dieting, he wasn’t getting the physical changes he wanted...
He didn’t want to look like a bodybuilder
He didn’t want a Men’s Health cover physique
He simply wanted to look leaner, more athletic, have more definition through his chest, arms and abs, and feel more confident in his appearance
So we didn’t remove the cardio...
We kept it in because he enjoyed it and it’s great for his health
What we did do was introduce 3 structured resistance training sessions per week using nothing more than adjustable dumbbells and a bench at home...
I built a custom programme around the equipment he had available and over the last 4 x 12-week phases we’ve gradually developed his physique, strength and habits...
There were no extremes
No ridiculous diets
No living in the gym
No giving up holidays or social occasions
Elliott is a successful businessman who travels, enjoys holidays and wanted flexibility whilst still making progress
From day 1 we knew this would be about creating a lifestyle that could be sustained long term and being patient with the process.
The result?
2 stone lost
A leaner, stronger and more athletic physique
More confidence
More energy
And most importantly, a transformation that has become part of his life rather than something temporary
