Midweek game… on a pitch that’s seen better days (we loved it). Got it done before it got dark an’ all.

First half, we were flying. Everything stuck, everything clicked, and for once we actually finished our chances. Six before half-time… yeah, SIX. 6–0 and laughing.

Second half, bit of a drop off—understandable when you’re that far ahead. Still created loads and added another three, but the clean sheet went in the most Sunday league way possible…

Miss a pen at one end, give one away at the other. Standard. They score it. Of course they do.

FT: 9–1

Can’t complain. Goals flying in, 3 points in the bag, and we keep right in the hunt for promotion.

First half, we were right on it. Sharp, aggressive, and causing problems every time we went forward. Didn’t take long either pulls it back and our top scorer does what he does best.

Second followed soon after and at 2–0, we were in control and playing some good stuff.

Then a bit of football chaos. We get given a very soft pen, fair play, we tell the ref it’s not one (honesty from the lads 👏). Didn’t quite get the reward for that though… next thing, a debatable free kick goes against us and they take advantage. 2–1 at the break.

Second half, more of the same really. NP on top, creating chances. Probably tried to be a bit too clever at times, but still had more than enough. Added two more goals and saw it out properly in the end.

Another 3 points in the bag as we hope for a late promotion push

Not a classic… but we’ll take it.

Big game against AG Athletic with both sides chasing promotion, and you could tell. Bit scrappy, bit cagey, no one wanting to be the one to slip up.

First half was proper end-to-end stuff, just without the end product. They caused a few problems from corners, we looked dangerous on the break. But let’s be honest, neither keeper had loads to do. 0–0 at the break.

Second half… copy and paste.

Still a battle, still lacking that final bit of quality. Then the big moment, penalty to them. Looked like one of those days… but Adam steps up and pulls off a massive save. Huge.

After that we tried to turn the screw, but couldn’t quite find it. One of those games.

FT: 0–0

Not pretty, not one for the archives, but a hard earned point. We move.

Made that harder than it needed to be…

Tough test for the lads against an in-form side, and we didn’t exactly fly out the blocks. Bit slow to get going, but still felt in control. Took a while to break them down, but the opener finally came from a set piece, fell to who made no mistake.

That settled us. then pulled out a quality volley, and wrapped things up nicely before half-time with a sweet free kick. 3–0 up at the break and cruising.

Second half… yeah, we made it interesting.

They came out strong, grabbed two back, and suddenly it’s a game again. Standard. But fair play to the lads, we dug in when it mattered and saw it out (just about).

FT: 3–2 W

Big result considering we had a few missing and no recognised keeper. Not perfect, not pretty, but 3 points on the board and up to 4th.

MOTM:

Ran the show in midfield today, proper shift from him. Everywhere you looked, he was there. Outstanding performance

We sit 6th as the year wraps up, 10 games played, 6 wins, 2 draws, 2 losses, +19 GD, 20 points.

Deck is leading the line as our top goal scorer, and we’re still in the League Cup. Plenty to play for in 2026!

We’ve come a long way in just one and a half seasons. The team is gelling, playing for each other, keeping a great attitude… and most importantly, having a laugh along the way.

Much better performance this week and another well-deserved 3 points.

We started a little slow in the first half but still looked comfortable, playing some good football and taking an early 2–0 lead. Once we settled, we added another four goals before half-time to go in 6–0 up.

The second half was more of the same, dominating all over the pitch and adding another four goals to finish with a 10–0 win.

A great effort from all the lads today and a fully deserved result.

MOTM was Dale, with four assists and constant problems caused down the right-hand side—topped off with a goal of his own. Brilliant performance all round.

Decent performance from the lads today, though it definitely could have been better.

The first half was slow and sluggish, we struggled to get the ball down and play the football we wanted. Despite that, we managed to go into half-time 2–1 up.

In the second half we came alive, playing our football, controlling the game, and adding another four goals to seal a 6–1 win against AFC Sheffield. We face them again next week away from home, so hopefully another three points will follow.

A strong second-half display won us the game today.

MOTM was Brendan, who put in a fantastic shift at right-back, battled hard all game and let nothing get past him.

A tough one to take, but ultimately a deserved loss.

The first half was a very slow start from the lads, we couldn’t get out of first gear and didn’t look like we wanted it. After a positive 15-minute spell, we managed to score two quick goals, but Seven Hills responded with two of their own, taking us into half-time at 2–2.

The second half was much the same as the first. We never really got going, and Seven Hills added another two goals. We pulled one back late on, but it wasn’t enough.

FT: 4–3 Norfolk Park
A deserved win for them in the end.

Aside from that 15-minute spell, we didn’t deserve anything from this game. We need to be better. With a week off now, we can reset, reflect, and bounce back as we face AFC Sheffield next.

Wow, just wow. What a way to progress in the cup!
We’ve knocked out last year’s winners and current Premier Division leaders, in an absolute thriller.

We started strong, full of confidence, creating chance after chance, and two deflected crosses saw us go 2–0 up at half-time.

The second half began just as brightly, but Birley hit back with one before we quickly restored control with two more goals to make it 4–1. Credit to them though, they showed why they’re champions, fighting back to lead 5–4.

But we didn’t give up. With the last kick of the game, Shuk managed to squeeze one past the keeper to level it at 5–5 and send us to penalties.

After an incredible 90 minutes of football, we held our nerve, winning 3–0 on pens, with our number 1 Adam making a vital save and the other two Birley efforts going over the bar.

Absolutely speechless after that one, a well-deserved and hard-fought win for the lads.
