Berry Academy of Dance Berry Academy of Dance, Sheffield. Over 40 years of IDTA qualified teaching in all major aspects of dance.

Berry Academy of Dance is based in Sheffield and for 35 years has carried out IDTA (International Dance Teachers' Association) qualified teaching in many aspects of dance including Ballet, Tap, Theatre Craft & Modern Jazz. The School holds a show every two years and 2018's production was held at the Montgomery Theatre, Surrey Street. In addition to this pupils take grade exams and some participate

in local dance festivals and professional productions. Many of our students have gone on to professional careers in the performing arts, from one of the first Billys in Billy Elliot to national tours and West End productions of well-loved musicals such as Grease, West Side Story, Wicked, Chicago & Hairspray. In just a month, the stage will come alive as we present “All That Dance!” – 4 unforgettable shows packed with energy, talent, passion and incredible performances.

From our youngest stars making their stage debut to our senior dancers showcasing years of dedication and training, every number tells a story of hard work, commitment and a love of dance.

So proud of our team who competed at The Fox Valley Festival Of Dance this week. What a fantastic group of young performers we have!

Lots of medals won over the 5 days, but more importantly to see the improvements in each pupil and the friendships created is just fantastic, we are very happy teachers.
