💚⚽ WALKING 29 MILES FOR MADDY ⚽💚
We’re incredibly proud to support one of our very own Tinsley Juniors family members who is taking on an incredible 29-mile walk in aid of the Maddy Cusack Foundation.
On 19th September, Beth, along with friends and family of Maddy, will walk 29 miles from Bramall Lane to Derby to Bring Maddy Back Home. 💚
Maddy Cusack was a Sheffield United footballer who sadly took her own life on 20th September 2023.
In 2024, family and friends walked from Derby’s Pride Park to Bramall Lane — and this year, the journey will be made in the opposite direction.
This cause is particularly close to Beth’s heart. Her daughter Nevaeh fell in love with Maddy after discovering they shared the same shirt number when Nevaeh began her own football journey. Since the Maddy Cusack Foundation was established, Nevaeh has continued to support the foundation through fundraising and attending events.
In July last year, Beth was honoured to join the fundraising team and become part of the Maddy Cusack Foundation, and this will be her first big fundraiser for the foundation. 💚
And this is something that makes it even more special to our Tinsley Juniors family…
⚽ The Maddy Cusack Foundation proudly sponsors Tinsley Juniors’ first-ever girls team, helping support the growth of girls' football within our club and making a real difference to young players like Nevaeh. 💚
So, as a club, we’d love to get behind Beth and show our support for this incredible challenge and the amazing work of the foundation.
