Dear CMA families past & present,
I have been forced to make an incredibly hard and heartbreaking decision. After 11 fantastic years of cheerleading, Cheermania will not be able to reopen.
After exploring many options, the company has gone into liquidation following an unaffordable dilapidations bill after moving out of our gym and the impact of covid halting our classes three times in the past year.
I would like to thank everyone who has been part of the Cheermania family over the last decade and for supporting me in my dream job. I had wanted to be part of the cheerleading community for many years to come, building our Cheermania Family and watching more young people become confident and mature adults.
I understand how much CMA has become a part of the athletes lives and it was always my plan to continue Cheermania as a Community Interest Club, however, sadly this plan can no longer go ahead due to changes in staffing.
It has been a privilege to be your coach and director, and I do not take this for granted.
I wish you all well for the future, I’m just truly heartbroken I’m not going to be part of it.
