New balls pumped up ready in 1 members boot and a rare blast from the past in the back of another members shed.

The ball has a great story and this week has reminded some of our og members in our WhatsApps group about the SHABBA days, the place where the OHHFC name came from.

The ball was bought by one of our longstanding OG members from the vauxhall dealership on the parkway out of the clearance bin for 50p. It was taken along to shabba and it was known as ' best ball in shabba' its a really lightweight ball and cough on it and it'll fly over the crossbar 😂😂 we sometimes used it as a match ball for the laugh because it had a mind of its own. It retired when we bought the first lot of mitres. If we had a hall of fame it'd be in there but instead its in the OGs shed 😂😂

12 participants attended tonight and battled the heat for an hours football in aid of promoting mens mental health through participation in sport. As the sun sets on a great Thursday evening slots are open for next Thursdays session old and new players welcome book on below ⚽️

Just like to thank our opponents RvB Hillsborough Club FC Sun Adults Team for this afternoons baking hot fixture.

Both teams started off strong with chances in both directions. We opened the scoring with a stunning header from our captain Dave Sephton.

A quick response from RVB taking us into half time 3-2 down.

After some subs and tactical changes made by the gaffer Josh Clayton at half time we came out looking a different team.

We started the game 4 1 2 1 2 which left us open on the wings and RVB saw that and pressed us. At the break we switched to a 4 5 1 which saw us gain possession in the centre of the park and we dominated the game.
