Abbeydale Park Badminton Club is Yorkshires biggest badminton club. WIth members from beginners to top internationals and from 6 to 83 years old we are a truly inclusive club. We have adult players ranging from 18 to in their 70’s playing at all levels. Leagues & Teams:

If you are interested in competitive play then APBC is a good place to be. We field mens, ladies and combined teams at varying standards ranging from social/ competitive to a very high standard of competitive player. within both the Sheffield and Chesterfield leagues (this is located around Sheffield and district). Within the local Sheffield league there are divisions for feathers teams and divisions for plastics. Membership:

We welcome visitors to come down, play and try us out for yourself. We allow visitors to visit up to 3 times before we ask you to decide whether or not you would like to become a member. Though people usually make up their mind before the fourth visit! For the 3 visits adults pay £5 and students and juniors pay £2.50. Please contact us to help decide which session would be most appropriate for you to attend. If you remain unsure as to which night best fits your playing experience, we recommend visitors first come down on a Friday (19:30) to join in the social evening and to see which nights are suitable for future visits. As well as the badminton, membership to Abbeydale Park Badminton Club includes membership to the on-site Abbeydale Sports Clubhouse Bar; giving you a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy a drink or food and watch Sky Sports on their TVs.

Reminder: At tonight’s club session we have two courts dedicated to combined practice. This is part of a trial to improve the standard of our club nights and teams.

This is primarily for existing combined players, however any female members who are interested in playing combined please join us!

The remaining 3 courts will be open to normal club nights/the peg board system 😊

*CHANGES TO THE CHRIS ADCOCK EVENT*

The event is now FREE entry and all are welcome, so if you have any family of friends who are interested in participating or spectating then please feel free to bring them down!

The times of our Chris Adcock event on Sunday (12th) have slightly changed, there is now a single slot for juniors and for adults, both 2 hours in duration:

- Juniors are now 3.00 to 5.00pm
- Adults are now 5.30 to 7.30pm

The times should provide a new simpler arrangement and give you a better experience on the day.

If you won a ticket in the club raffle or purchased a ticket from us, you can still use it to purchase items on the day or if you don't want to we can refund it for you.

On the day there will be coaching, fun activities, Q&A Session with chris, Autograph signing, Yonex Trade Stand with Yonex Staff in attendance and a large range of demo rackets to try on court, fingers crossed with some new never before seen models!

We hope to see you down on Sunday ⭐
