Join Cat and Sally in October for a gentle session including slow-flow yoga, guided meditation towards stillness, and a calming sound bath.

Begin with slow, steady movement, a short break, then a guided meditation and sound bath experienced lying down or seated.

Sound includes singing bowls, voice, and gentle percussion, with sustained tones and vibration.

The space is calm and softly lit. Chair-based options and trauma-informed support are available.

I believe yoga isn’t about achieving perfect postures - it’s about listening to your body and giving it what it needs in each moment. We don’t exist in a yoga textbook, and no single practice works for everyone all the time.

We have classes three times a week at Hillsborough Park, Sheffield. Why not give us a try? There's a class for you.

Your nervous system isn’t meant to be calm all the time - and nothing has gone wrong if it doesn’t feel that way.

In our Trauma Informed Yoga sessions with Cat, we gently explore how your body responds to stress and build flexibility so you can:

🌱 feel less overwhelmed

🌱 recover more easily from stress

🌱 understand what your body needs

You may hear the phrase “window of tolerance.”
This is your capacity to cope.

Message Cat if you'd like to explore how to work together to gently expand it.

If you're struggling to relax:

Using a restorative yoga posture instead of sitting or lying flat can help some people (me included) relax for longer. It can also soothe the “I need to be doing something” feeling.

Gentle side-to-side or forward-and-back swaying while seated can be calming for the nervous system. Follow what feels right for your body.

If you’re holding nervous, restless, or frustrated energy, a big whole-body shake can help.

Above all, be gentle with yourself.
No mean words.

All yoga is a practice — not a perfect.
