High Green Villa FC has noted the statement issued by Ecclesfield Red Rose JFC regarding recent social media content.
We respect Ecclesfield Red Rose JFC's position and fully acknowledge their right to protect and manage their club identity, branding, and communications as they see fit.
High Green Villa FC wishes to clarify that we have never claimed there to be any formal affiliation, partnership, merger, or any official connection between our club and Ecclesfield Red Rose JFC. Any references or graphics shared on social media involving former managers were created independently and without any malice towards Ecclesfield Red Rose JFC. Purely just two previous managers moving on to a new club.

Nothing by High Green Villa was produced , authorised, or endorsed by High Green Villa FC social media platforms.
Our focus remains on providing a positive football environment for our players, coaches, volunteers, and families within our own club. We are committed to developing football opportunities in our community and maintaining positive relationships with all local clubs.

We have no interest in engaging in public disputes and believe that football should remain centred on the enjoyment, development, and wellbeing of young players.
I would like to wish Ecclesfield Red Rose JFC every success for the future and we will continue to concentrate on the growth and development at our own club High Green Villa FC.

High Green Villa Football Club are already planning for the new season 2026/27 with our new Away kit.

After Sunday 3rd of May our last ever game in Junior football for our U16s I will be bringing the curtain down on my 26 years service to grassroots football. At the age of 18 I never would have thought I would be managing my first team and 26 years later still at it 🤣

It’s been a great 26 years to be involved with the teams I have managed and coached and also the behind scenes running of clubs. Thorncliffe (where my roots started as a player then management ) I had so many happy times there and great memories but High Green Villa is a club I have worked hard to get where it is today and HGV has made my time in football the happiest. A lot of highs which always come with a lot of lows but I wouldn’t have changed that for anything

A massive thank you to past and present players, Parents, and all involved with making our club what it is today also our sponsors which have played a very big part in providing great kits, tracksuits, and trips away. We will all look back on this with great memories of junior football
