WHAT IF CONFIDENCE WAS SOMETHING YOUR CHILD COULD PRACTISE?

We tell our students there are 3 Secrets of Confidence:

💪 1. BODY LANGUAGE
Shoulders back. Chin up. Eyes forward.

🗣️ 2. VOICE PROJECTION
Speak clearly, strongly and proudly. Don't be afraid to be heard.

🧠 3. POSITIVE MINDSET

Replace “I can't” with “I'll try.”

Replace “I'm not good at this” with “I'm getting better.”

Confidence isn't something you're either born with or without.

It's something you practise.

And the more children practise it on the mats, the easier it becomes to use it in the classroom, playground and everyday life.

This September: shoulders back, chin up, eyes forward. 💙

Our XMA workshop with Teacher Liam was amazing!

So much energy, encouragement and support on the mats, with everyone learning new skills, challenging themselves and cheering each other on. 💥🥋

This is what we love about the Excel Family — different ages, different levels, all training together, supporting one another and sharing the experience.

A huge well done to everyone who came along and gave it their all, and a big thank you to Teacher Liam for bringing the energy and delivering such a brilliant workshop!

WOULD YOUR CHILD SPEAK UP IF SOMETHING DIDN’T FEEL RIGHT?

It’s a worry lots of parents quietly have.

Would they tell someone to stop?
Would they walk away?
Would they ask an adult for help?
Or would they freeze and say nothing?

These are skills children can practise.

On the mats, we help children find their voice, set healthy boundaries, develop confident body language and stay calm when they feel under pressure.

We don’t want children looking for confrontation.

We want them to have the confidence to handle it.

A skill for the mats.
A skill for the playground.
A skill for life. 💙
