- Cole Long putting a solid display on both ends including a 75% from 3’s which resulted in him getting 23pts and 5 rebounds

-The return of Josh Ward Hibbert

- Mike Okauru bringing energy and rebounds

- 4 players having 10 plus points

🏀Improvements

- Need to close out the 3’s
- Communication on both ends of the floor
- Space the floor to create more of an open shot
- Take shot when open instead of dribbling too much.

London Lions 🦁 89-79 Newcastle Eagles 🦅 Review

🏀Too be short with height is one thing but I feel like the speed when we get our transition right is up there better than anyone else in the league as Mike Okauru proved that today.

🏀Remember as well we were 5/24 in 3s tonight which works out as 20% overall but if you make a few more of them then Lions lose or you force overtime today.

🏀Josh Ward Hibbert is a massive miss for us in games like this as Aaryn Rai would not even come close to 31pts for London if he was marking him in game.

🏀To finish on a positive note as a coach/fan of the game: having the ability to complete for 40 minutes with 8 players is impressive especially when you are missing 2 big leaders through injury too.

🏀Roll on Friday when we play Surrey 89s, and we will bring energy and be loud and proud.

🦅- Keep believing until the final whistle, a lot of improvements needed but taking a 3-0 start to this ENBL is an outstanding achievement.

🏀A few points to improve
🦅- Movement on and off the ball
🦅- Rebound required on both ends
🦅- Communication on defence

Opening game of SLB basketball campaign in the league starts with a win. 👏🏼🏀🦅

🦅A great game as each player who played contributes to both ends of the floor. Some great transition basketball on both ends of the floor which helped score some great baskets and create some turnovers.

🙏🏻Hopefully Josh Ward Hibbert injury is not too serious.
