Having had a fabulous weekend away with the girls in Liverpool I 100% wasnβt getting on those scales this morning! π€¦πΌββοΈπ
Why? Because I can tell you my scale weight will have definitely increasedβοΈ
Scale weight is SO heavily influenced by things like salt intake (thank you Saturday night chips and cheese π ), hydration, food volume (mums Sunday dinner π½οΈ ), time of day, when I last went to the toilet!! π€·πΌββοΈπ
After a weekend of more food and drink than normal of course that number of the scale would increase!! π¬
So what happens with most when we do this . . .
It goes one of two ways here . . .
1. They give up because whatβs the point right π€·πΌββοΈ
2. Or they over restrict - hardly eat anything for the next few days and spend hours and hours exercising π
βNone of these options get you results
βNone of these options are healthy
Instead, for me, the birthday celebrations are officially over.
This means I can knuckle down. Eat and drink like a normal person and weigh myself Friday like the rest of my girls (like that water retention never even happened ππΌ π¦ π)
