UPDATE! Just wanted to let everyone know I’m still alive. As well as being a purveyor of fine bicycles I also work in the music industry. I’ve spent a lot of time working away over the last six months and it’s only set to get busier.

As a result my time in the workshop has suffered and I’ve not had as many bikes to send to new owners. It’s really sad for me as my little bike shop has grown into something amazing and I’m itching to get back to it.

So I’m officially putting on hold until I get back from my current run of tours. I’m off to 🇺🇸 🇧🇷 🇯🇵 🇲🇽 🇨🇦 🇩🇪 🇧🇪 🇳🇴 🇦🇹 🇫🇮 🇳🇱 🇷🇴 so it’s looking like I won’t be back until October I’m afraid though… 😭

I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who has supported Ryan’s Push Irons since it’s inception in the dark days of lockdown. This isn’t goodbye, just “see thi in a bit”

If you’ve never heard of Trek’s “Project One” program it is an opportunity to create your dream bike. You choose the paint and the only limit is your imagination.

They take a while to arrive and owners tend to hold on to them due to the sentimental value and the premium to create the bike. When they do appear on the second hand market normally the colours are pretty bold so unless you have the same taste as the designer they can be a tough sell.

The designer of this project one couldn’t have gotten it more perfect in my opinion. It’s BLACK with a side order of BLACK and it looks seriously mean. As a result it’s a rare opportunity to get your hands on a desirable Project One bike without the long wait or the eye watering price tag.

I don’t need to write too much about the Madone SLR itself, just have a google and you’ll see they have been winning bike races for years. It’s the ultimate Aero Race weapon. The SLR tops the range as the ISOSPEED Decoupler is adjustable. This means you can choose exactly how much compliance or stiffness you want from the frame when you’re out on the road.

This Madone features Trek’s integrated Bar/Stem combo, which is brand new and purchased just for this build. I have just installed new bar tape and wrapped it to include the tops of the bars. This can easily be cut down to the hoods if you want to achieve a more “aero” look.

GUESS WHO’S BACK!! Only intended taking a couple of months off but here we are in a whole new year!

Only managed to get in the shop for a couple of days this week but 2 bikes went to two happy new owners.

Both super low mileage 2nd owner bargains!

SINCERE apologies for the delay. I intended to take a month off whilst I returned to my pre-covid role in the music industry but instead I’ve been away for nearly 3.

Anyway… first day back in the shop today prepping this beauty.

THAT’S A WRAP! 2 bikes left the shop in boxes today on the way to new owners.

Unfortunately they’ll be the last for a few weeks as I’m off back out on tour with my other job (in music). When I started this business I knew people wanted a TRUSTED source for top quality road bikes but I never imagined it would take off like it has. I’ve got over 400 happy customers now and after a short break I’ll be back for 400 more.

MASSIVE THANKS to everyone who has supported my little bike shop so far. See you in a few weeks when I’ll be back with some more stock to drool over….

Here we have a bike I purchased for an existing client but in the meantime he has managed to source an alternative.

It is brand new and has never been ridden on the road, the first owner suffered an injury whilst waiting for it to arrive and unfortunately never got to ride it.

The Purchase price for the bike was £3499 but this years model (unchanged) is now £4369. They're sold out everywhere so this is a rare opportunity to get a new bike at less than the RRP. It has had the £75 wireless D-Fly Bluetooth unit installed so you can customise the gear changes using the Shimano E-Tube app. You can also control your Garmin or change gear using the hidden buttons under the shifter hoods.

Don't even know where to start with this one... I picked it up in March and I've been wrestling with the idea of keeping it for myself ever since. I've ridden it a few times and I can honestly say it is the fastest bike I have ever put my leg over. It's a real head turner and I've had a lot of compliments out on the road (followed by questions of how much it cost!)

So what's the deal? Well it's a 2018 S-Works Venge VIAS Disc in the limited edition Sagan Superstar Colourway. The photos will never do it justice but the paint job is a pearlescent silver sparkle that changes completely under different lights. There are gold highlights to compliment the sparkles and the only way to appreciate it is to stand next to it. Absolutely stunning.

The frame is constructed from top of the range S-Works Fact 11r so its as light/stiff as it gets. They spent thousands of hours in the wind tunnel to create the fastest bike that has ever come out of the Specialized factory. That might sound like marketing hype but put the power down in a sprint and this bike is like a rocket. It shocked one of my regular riding mates just how quickly I was able to pull away from him in a town sign sprint. It's unreal.

Now this is a very special and very rare bike. A top spec build on the rocking horse poo Cannondale Supersix Evo Hi-Mod Black Inc Disc frameset. Hi-Mods are rare, Black Inc's even rarer and this is what I call a golden unicorn.

Cannondale stopped making limited edition "Black Inc" models after 2018 so this is the very last year that you could purchase the "top of the top of the range". It's also the penultimate year of this legendary Supersix Evo frame, in 2020 it was completely redesigned with dropped seatstays which it's fair to say are not a Cannondale fan favourite.

This bike is now a real collectors piece as it is one of the very last Supersix Evo Black Inc's out of the factory.

I’m selling it on behalf of a client of mine and he’s just authorised a final price drop to £3995.
