“Stockholm saw the third fastest 800m ever run-but it wasn’t by Hodgkinson! Audrey Werro, who I previously mentioned could challenge Hodgkinson this season, did just that. She won in a time of 1 minute 53.98- a stunning time. Keeley, who ran a British Record in the race, tried to come back in the home straight but was outkicked by Werro, who is only 22! This race was the making of a great rivalry, which will be very exciting to watch play out over the next few years.”

But, Ava also wrote this about Molly Caudery who has since announced that she’s out for the rest of the season with a back injury. Gutted for you, Molly!

“Molly Caudrey showed she is back to her best, clearing 4.80m to win in Rome. After finishing down the field at the Diamond League in Rabat she will be pleased with this performance, and how it will set her up for later in the season.”

Happy T20 World Cup Day! A glorious summer of cricket begins today and England have performed well in their opener against Sri Lanka securing a W.

If you don’t know your T20 from a test, we’ve written a basic guide so that you know what’s going on.

Twenty20, or T20 as it’s sometimes called, refers to a format in which each team has 20 overs to bowl out the other team. It’s fast and furious as batters try to score as many runs as possible and the opposition takes more risks to bowl out the batters. It’s very fun to watch & often nail biting towards the end.

Abbi Pulling made history at Spa Francochamps last weekend. The British driver became the first woman to win a GB3 championship race, converting a pole position into a win at one of motorsport’s most famous circuits. Reasons why sport venues need to provide free period wear…

Makes girls and women feel welcome and that they belong. Female fans are more likely to return if their experience is positive and they might even give sport a try themselves - critical to building the sport and women’s sport.

Free period wear in a venue means stress free watching or working. If you feel good and at ease, you’ll enjoy the event more and perform at your best if you’re working in the venue or team support staff.

Some venues have period wear dispensers but they require cash. Who carries cash? Make it free.

Free period wear boosts the bottom line: Women’s sport is booming. This year it’s due to hit a global value of $3bn, an increase of 340% since 2022. Improving girls’ and women’s experience of watching sport is essential in encouraging female involvement and participation.
