We are holding an exciting Club Social Night on Friday 11th September from 7pm onwards, save the date and book your tickets to dance the night away with the fabulous band Marylebone Jelly!!

Priority bookings for members to reserve your tickets are now being taken until the 31st August and available to the public thereafter. Tickets are £10pp and payment to be made on collection.

Please contact the office to purchase your tickets for a fantastic evening of entertainment, the kitchen will also be open 6pm – 9pm.

Sheerness Golf Club is looking for a reliable and conscientious experienced cleaner to join our team within our private members Golf Club.

Cleaning duties will be demonstrated but will include hoovering and mopping of floors, cleaning of washrooms, restocking of consumables.

• Expected hours: 4 per week plus holiday and sickness cover
• Schedule: Flexible to cover shifts

Duties:
• Perform cleaning tasks such as Sweeping, mopping, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean and sanitise washrooms
• Follow cleaning schedules and ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.

Skills:
* Proven experience in cleaning.
* Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
* Attention to detail and thoroughness in work. Be able to work independently and use own initiative.
* Demonstrate a reliable and responsible approach

Sheerness Golf Club is currently seeking an experienced cook to join their team in its private members Golf club kitchen.

The successful candidate will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring high-quality dishes are served promptly.

• Sunday 06:30am – 16:30pm. 10-hour shift.
• Flexible to cover additional shifts for the Catering Manager when required to support function and event catering.

Roles/Responsibilities:
• Catering experience required.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (required).
• Ensure current food safety and sanitation practices are followed.
• Setting up the kitchen for service and closure procedures.
• Prepare and cook food for service to specifications provided by the Catering Manager.
• Keeping your section clean tidy and stocked at all times.
• A friendly and cheerful disposition.
• Excellent customer service skills

Entries, limited to 72, are invited from Members of Golf Clubs, affiliated to a County Golf Union in the South Eastern Group, who have attained the age of 55 years on or before the first day of the Championship with a Handicap Index of 12.0 or better.
