Well done to the girls who represented our school on 8/1/24 in a school football match.

Unfortunately the result was not in our favor but each and everyone of them tried their hardest in some very wintery conditions.

They showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the entirety of the game and we are all so proud of them!

Sports day 2023

Well done to all the students who took part in sports day, it was wonderful to see everyone celebrating each other’s efforts and successes!

We began the week with KS1 completing their sports day on Monday. The students showcased their skills in various races and finished with a very competitive head to head class race! All the students have shown determination and drive to perfect the skills needed in these races. For this, the class teachers, class TAs and I are extremely proud of them.
A special mention also to the year 6 children who helped set up the equipment and made sure the day ran smoothly. They were encouraging, passionate and took pride in their jobs for the day. They all demonstrated exceptional leadership and organisational skills, which makes them inspiring role models for the younger students to look up to.

Well done KS1! 

Across the week, we completed all of our KS2 sports days. The students signed up for their chosen events earlier in the term, which allowed us to have lots of time to practice each event in the weeks leading up to sports day. They all practised with a desire to improve so they could be in with a chance to take home the vital points for their houses on the day. Well done to all those who took part and competed in the events of the day.

After adding up the points, we had a winning house for each year group, which went as follows:

Year 3: Harty

Year 4: Shurland

Year 5: Kingsferry

Year 6: Harty

However… Our winning house overall… After tallying up the points goes too…

Kingsferry!!!

A final special mention to all those who either joined in our parents races or showed up to show their support for the children. There was a great atmosphere on the track and it was amazing to watch all the parents motivating and cheering on all that took part. The day would not have been the same without you.

Apologies everyone,

Due to Year 6 transition days we have had to move their sports day to Tuesday 4th July. This date means all year 6s will be able too enjoy their final sports day together.

All other year groups will remain the same.

We are looking forward too seeing everyone there :)

Once you have submitted a form this confirms your childs place.

The clubs will run between 3:20-4:20 and will require children to be picked up at 4:20 outside reception.

As you may see there is a new club this term being the girls only football, this is due to on march 8th the whole of the UK is hosting the biggest girls football session. The girls only football will be run by Miss Watson along side the Invite only football club run by Mr Smith.
