Work on the courts has finished and we are reopening! Looking forward to seeing our members back on court from Wednesday 10th December 🎾

Work continues to provide a new surface and floodlights - the new light columns have been installed, court 1 has had the regulating layer of tarmac laid, electrical work continues and the fence is being replaced on the Bowls Club side.

This week the new Tiger Turf is being delivered, courts 2 and 3 will have their regulating layer of tarmac laid and the lights should be installed on the columns. All weather dependent, fingers crossed the rain holds off for us!

Progress on the courts - drainage holes created on the tarmac, cabling being installed, new edgings, floodlight columns mostly removed, new net posts positions.

19/10/2025

Week 1 of the resurfacing project completed. All the carpet has been removed and taken away for recycling.

09/10/2025

A gentle reminder that the tennis courts will be closed from Monday, 13th October, for 4-6 weeks while the courts get resurfaced and new lights installed.
