We are absolutely thrilled to share that Lucas MacFie has achieved an incredible 97% Distinction in his LAMDA Grade 8 Gold Medal Solo Acting exam.
Not only is this an exceptional result at one of the highest levels of acting qualification, it is the highest Gold Medal mark ever achieved by a TLW student.
What makes this achievement even more special is everything Lucas has accomplished alongside it. Just weeks before his exam, he took on the lead role in our production of The Cabaret Diaries, delivering an outstanding performance and carrying a huge amount of responsibility throughout the show. Before that, he had also been busy performing a principal role in his school production.
And somehow, amongst all of this, Lucas is also preparing for both his Advanced Foundation and Grade 8 Ballet exams!
Lucas has been part of TLW for many years and continues to impress us with his dedication, versatility and commitment. Whether he is in an acting lesson, a dance class or on stage in a leading role, he always gives his all.
A huge congratulations also to our acting teacher, Helen Watts, whose passion, expertise and support have helped Lucas achieve this incredible result.
We are unbelievably proud of you, Lucas. A truly outstanding achievement, an incredible mark, and one that is thoroughly deserved.
