A good, 40 over, away game today at Rusthall. We batted first, finishing the first innings on 220. Rusthall attempted to chase Ide Hill’s score, but ended on 179-4. Some good fielding and bowling from our team. Special mention for Clive Brown who got the Saturday team’s first hundred ending on 104*.

A brilliant presidents match today with 22 ide hill players and invited guests! The captains were Avi Malhotra and Rob Littleton. Avi’s team batted first and scored 183 runs. Robs team managed to chase down the score and won by 5 wickets despite the heat! An excellent game for all, particularly Charlie Jerrom who was retired for 50*.

A close 35 over game yesterday for the Saturday team away at Eltham. Ide Hill finished the first innings on 179-9. Eltham accepted the challenge and attempted to chase it down. With some good batting. However, Ide Hill’s bowling and fielding kept them in the game until the very last ball. Eltham finished 174-8. Very close game.

An away game against Ash today; 40 over game. Ash batted in the first innings and scored 188 runs all out . In the second innings, Ide Hill won chasing down the target for the loss runs for 5 wickets in the 30th over. A special mention to Peter Calthorpe who scored 61 and Nath Calthorpe 41*. Three debuts for Parth, Lewis Bird and Hardik!🐔

A winning draw for Ide Hill against Matfield, despite stifling heat! A timed game. Ide Hill batted first and scored 214 runs with Clive Brown top scoring with 81 and Robbie Sanders getting 45*. Ide Hill bowled well with Charlie Jerrom getting 4 wickets. But Matfield played well to ensure the draw finishing on 153 for 6.

A brilliant win against Rusthall today, a rocky start for side Hill with five ducks and only 138 runs at the end of the first innings (40 overs). Special thanks to Paul Coppendale who scored over 50! Rusthall were bowled out in the second innings with an amazing 5-for from Robert Littleton! Ide Hill won overall by 48 runs. Another great result for the team accompanied by beautiful weather and lovely tea from Simon and Lucinda. 🍋‍🟩

Another brilliant result for Ide Hill Saturday team yesterday, despite some very hot weather conditions. A home game against Turks, where in the first innings ide hill scored 153 runs. Thanks to some amazing bowling and fielding from Ide Hill, Turks were bowled out for 102! Keep up the good work IHCC🏏☀️

03/05/25 our first home game for Ide Hill against Stone with 35 overs (and some hoofed spectators). In the first Innings Ide Hill scored 205 runs with an impressive 76 from Nathan Calthorpe, and a maiden 50 for Lijoy Jose. In the second innings, Stone started off slowly but picked up the pace as the game went on. Leading to a tight finish They managed to reach 197 at the end of their innings, resulting in Ide Hill’s second win so far this season. 🐓
