Sevenoaks Powerchair Football Club are based in Kent and are affiliated to Sevenoaks Town FC. We aim to offer wheelchair and powerchair users the opportunity to come along and take part in the sport of powerchair football.

It is with our greatest pleasure that we announce another new member of the SPFC family.

Many people know this person well and it would be hard to disagree that we are lucky to have him join the club.

Please welcome our latest member - our new Assistant Club Coach for SPFC...

Alan Murray.

We don't need to say too much about Alan, apart from that we are extremely happy that he has joined us.

Alan will be helping out Ian, our Head Coach, as well as Kyle, Jim and Aaron with the coaching and training of our Acorn Academy players as well as our Regional teams and filling in at a National Level when required.

Alan said of his joining: "Im so happy to be joining a club with such a strong family bond and amazing support throughout. I’m really looking forward to being part of the team, working together, and doing everything I can to help the club grow and succeed. Excited for this new chapter! 💚"

ps: we are also looking forward to Shay joining on the sidelines and being extremely sarcastic about Alan too! :)

ANNOUNCEMENT...

NEW Sevenoaks Powerchair Football Club (SPFC) Sponsor.

We are extremely proud, honoured and humbled to make this next announcement.

As many people will know, SPFC last season lost 3 close friends and SPFC family members, one of which was Myles Miller.

It has been a really difficult period for the club, our players, family members, carers and most importantly the family of Myles.

But in true Myles fashion, there is no getting away from him (as Gregg Baxter will happily point out). We will always keep Myles close to our hearts but we will also have the pleasure of having Myles with us whenever we play... as we'd like to announce that our new sponsor is....

MYLES MILLER

Lynn, Martin and Aaron want to continue Myles' legacy with SPFC and so have decided to sponsor us on Myles' behalf.

Lynn, Martin and Aaron said:

"From the minute Myles tried Powerchair Football, he was hooked. He had found a sport in which he could participate and flourish in. By joining Sevenoaks PFC, the world of football opened up for him.

Being in a competitive environment, along with supportive coaching, led to it not being just a sport but becoming an obsession.

National and regional competitions meant that it wasn’t just a team playing, but it created a football family.

In the later years, Myles used his experience to develop his peers and the younger generation through his coaching.

Sevenoaks meant so much to Myles and his family, giving us all endless memories.

We knew that there was no doubt that Myles would want to give back to the club that had given him so much by being the sponsor for Sevenoaks PFC."

We are privileged to have Myles as our sponsor and to wear his name across our chests and close to our hearts, whenever we play.

We know Myles will be cheering on from above, berating our mistakes, shouting out his tactical advice and most importantly showing his support.

Thank you to Lynn, Martin and Aaron for undertaking this on Myles' behalf and a big thank you to Myles for everything you have brought the club and sport.

Our third and final player signing for the 2026/27 season.

Another player who needs no introduction. This player has been playing Powerchair Football for many years, learning his trade from some of the best players in the country and he has now decided to undertake a new challenge.

JORDAN WILLIAMS - NO. 14

Jordan joins SPFC with a wealth of knowledge and experience at the highest levels.

Upon signing for SPFC Jordan said "I'm really excited to be joining Sevenoaks this season. It's a new challenge and one that I'm really looking forward to. Everyone at the club has been so welcoming from the start, and I can't wait to get going, put the hard work in and see what we can achieve together."

On joining SPFC Jacob said "I’m genuinely so excited for this season and look forward to being a part of Sevenoaks!"

NEW SIGNING

We are proud and excited to announce our new signings that will be joining the Sevenoaks Powerchair Football Club (SPFC) family and playing in both our National and Regional teams for the 2026/27 season.

The first person we are excited to announce is........

HARRY BARNLEY - NO. 12

Harry joined SPFC from Farnham for the 2024/25 season, where he played with our Development Team in the SE Regional competition.

Over the past 2 seasons, Harry has come on leaps and bounds as a player and shown his true quality as an up and coming star. He won the Player of the Season for the SE Regionals Div 2 in the 2025/26 season, as well as being a part of the team to win Back to Back Div 2 titles.

Harry is also a part of the RETP (Regional Emerging Talent Programme).

Of his promotion Harry said: "I’m beyond excited to be able to be part of Sevenoaks PFC, a new challenge that I’m sure will be difficult but I can’t wait to start playing with the such great people around me."

As a club we are keen to promote within and we are extremely pleased to be able to announce Harry as our first new signing of the 2026/27 season.
