Founded in 2005, the Sevenoaks Suns Basketball Club has a strong focus on its wide community base of 300 members. We have a great appreciation for the effort of our committed coaches, and all the volunteers and sponsors helping the Club to thrive. The Suns' Junior Academy is offering coaching sessions for all, advanced training, and opportunities to compete in Local tournaments and The National League. We are very proud of our Men's Teams and our Women's Professional Team, which is the most successful team in the history of the Women British Basketball League. Our goal is to use basketball as a "vehicle" to educate young people and help them develop into mature, confident, and self-motivating individuals by creating a safe, supportive, and inspirational environment for players from all backgrounds and experiences. At Sevenoaks Suns, we learn to work constructively as part of a team; we understand the focus, discipline, effort, and commitment required to achieve excellence; we respond well to challenges, both on and off-court.

Suns Basketball Club is growing, and we're looking for coaches to join us this season across three areas:

🔸 Community Coach – schools & grassroots club sessions
🔸 National League Coach – Assistant or Head Coach for our competitive squad
🔸 Girls Programme Coordinator – helping grow the girls' game at our club

Whether you're an experienced coach or just starting out, there's a role for you on our bench. All levels of coaching experience welcome — full support and DBS process provided.

🏀 SUNS SUMMER CAMPS ARE BACK! 🏀

We're delighted to announce Sevenoaks Suns Basketball Club summer camps are running throughout July & August 2026 — open to boys and girls in School Years 4-10.

📅 6 weeks to choose from (21st July – 27th August)
📍 The Knole Academy & Sennocke Centre
⏰ 09:30 - 12:00
💰 Early bird price: £15/day (book before 20th July!) — £20/day after

Whether your child is picking up a basketball for the first time or already loves the game, our camps are all about building skills, confidence and making new friends over the summer break.
