So after coming back from the showcase I finally realised Steve needed something else to do. So we signed up to the Horse Agility Club as also decided it will be great for both Alan and Barry. On 12th Dec we submitted our first attempts for all 3 boys at starter level, I also did bronze liberty with Alan. Everything is ideally done on loose rope and no whips etc are allowed. Which is going to bring a whole new level of training for Alan and Steve as both work off whip cues. I mis read the pattern for 1 obstacle so lost marks on all 3 for this (we are not focusing on it being a competition) but over moon with all 3 boys. But Barry who came to me just 8 weeks before not even able to get a headcollar on smashed out his first round getting 92 out of 100 with nice comments (they dont get to know he was feral 8 weeks before). Yes the marks represent what they see on the video. But to me his video which ill put up next shows just how far he had come. Our plan is to do 1 entry a month at the level we have points to and try and improve them through the month and at some point have all 3 boys in the liberty section. ❤️

Sorry for delay on updates, got back today from 485mile round trip to attend the Horsemanship Hub - Horsemanship Showcase we had an incredible weekend for so many reasons, updates coming but I need to sleep first 😂 however what a weekend a times unbelievable so proud of both boys. Pictures, updates and videos to come. But decided to start with an update on the video competition I asked you all to vote for. The video was judged yesterday by 3 top trainers, I had 2 other very inspirational videos I was up against and 2 very worthy winners in my book I didn't envy the judges this year in either the Novice or the Advanced section. I actually expected to come 3rd but to my amazement my Camilla video got a epic mark of 27 including a 10/10 for one judge and a 9 from another. A huge thank you to all 3 judges for taking their time to judge its never easy as all videos was so different. A big thank you to Larissa for continuing to run the competition and a massive shout out to GK Horsemanship Equipment for their voucher to the winners. We decided to put towards it and get Barry this new rope bridle for when he is ready. I fell in love with both this and another sidepull action one but eventually decided to start with this one. The quality is beautiful and I will be going back for the sidepull option when he is at that stage. A big thank u to all that took the time to vote. And a massive to congratulations to everyone who put a video in every single one was inspiring. ♥️
