Youth Presentation Day tomorrow.

As part of our end of season celebrations we are hosting an auction to raise funds for the club.

The auction will be help on Sunday 14th June, at Settle Cricket Club.

Anyone is eligible to bid, either pop down, or get in touch to register a bid beforehand, or ask someone attending to bid for you.

We have some fantastic prizes kindly donated by some fantastic local businesses along with some sporting favourites aswell.

Huge thanks to Settle Coal Company Ltd for donating our youth football club a wheelbarrow, for our Barrow of Booze raffle this weekend. With an estimated £500 worth of booze in the barrow its a raffle not to be missed!.

Tickets are £5 each, available to buy now on Pitchero and at the presentation itself on Sunday from 2pm. (At Settle Cricket Club).

If you aren't part of the club but would like to buy a raffle ticket to help us raise funds then please drop us a message on here and we can arrange this!.

U8's are under way at the Silsden Tournament today!
And yes that is a little bit of sunshine you can see 🌞.

⚽️ Today we had U11's, U9's & U7's taking part in the Silsden Tournament. ⚽️

🟠 A well organised and much loved Tournament that we as a club has attended for a few years now.

⚫️ U11's entered 2 teams, U9's 1 team & U7's 2 teams.

🟠Lots of football played, lots of snacks were consumed, and we all stayed mostly dry.

👏 Thanks to all players & parents. 👏

Settle Youth FC are hosting a taster session for a U7's team to form in September 2026. The session will be run by Paul Ambrose who is one of our fantastic current U7's coach (so next season Paul will be coaching the U8's).

If we have enough interest we will do our best to find a coach for the new team so they can start in September.

Finally got round to adding embroidered initials to the boys football hoodies 🙌.

No more getting them mixed up, these hoodies have to last another season yet before we get new.

Coaches Notes:
Yesterday morning our U7's hosted Skipton Flames to kick off the Bank Holiday weekend.

The boys went into the game knowing that this would be their toughest test of the season so far! The way they all rose to the challenge was fantastic, every player gave it everything which led to a really good competitive game of junior football!

The first three quarters saw chances and goals at both ends. We had prepared the boys that they had to stay switched on every second that they were on the pitch, this was a game where one player not doing their job would lead to us being punished by the opposition. The comittment and effort demonstrated at such a young age was brilliant 👏.

Credit to Skipton who finished the game strongly in the final quarter but smiles still remained on Settle faces and they should all be proud of their performances. That is the quietest post match team talk I've ever given. Most were too tired to speak 🤣.

🟠 The teamwork and togetherness that these guys show each week is brilliant. We look forward to seeing them continue to grow together!

🏆 Hugo was our player of the match this week. He stepped upto the challenge of working hard both in and out of possession for the team. Very composed and strong on the ball. Well done Hugo 💪.
