Rounders Tournament Success

The Rounders Tournament on Sunday 9th was a great success, with strong support from local teams on a scorching summer's day.

The games were played in excellent spirit throughout, creating a fantastic atmosphere for both players and spectators.

A different round-robin format was used this year, with teams split into two groups. This resulted in more games for each team and was made possible thanks to the excellent organisation of Pete Amis.

A huge thank you goes to the volunteers from the cricket club, the umpires, and the bar staff, whose hard work helped make the day such a success.

SELSEY CRICKET & SOCIAL CLUBS FAMOUS BEER ROUNDERS AND FAMILY DAY

We would like to hear from more stall holder for food stalls, craft stalls, charity stalls, bouncy castles etc.

We do not charge for stalls but just ask for a donation to the club.

Ground open ‪from 10:30 matches ‪start at 11:00 am.

There is Pay Bar in the Club House open all day until late, open to the public, offering cheap alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

We have heard from Stan Balls daughters, his Funeral will be held on Friday 30th January at 1:30 at Littlehampton cemetery and then back to Littlehampton badminton and squash club where he spend most of his time and became a part of the committee there he was so passion about it.

If for anyone who would like to attend me and my sister would be would be very glad for everyone to see him on his last journey.

It is with sad news that we have just heard that Stan Ball has sadly passed away.

Stan was a lovely player , playing for Selsey for many years before he moved away.

He was a brilliant left arm opening bowler , all rounder ,great team player and lovely character

Our thoughts and condolences go out to Stans family.
