A very successful weekend at the Traquar medieval fare. We put over an estimated 500 people through the come and try earning over £2000 for club funds. Huge effort by those front of house and coaching. Much appreciated by all. Sorry I haven't any photos. Too busy to take any

CLUB MAY HOLIDAY TARGET MEETING 03/05/2026

The warm sunny weather of a couple of days ago was a distant memory as the cold wet windy mizzle
moved in from the North Sea dropping the temperature by over 10 degrees.
Over a third of the entrants dropped out on the day leaving only 6 hardy archers to battle it out.
At the end of the 60 yds Terry was holding a three shot lead but dropped shots on the 50yds to narrowly loose out.
At the final count there was only one hit between the top three and only three points in the score.
Winner of the trophy and silver medal was Jason on 53-231-5
Most Hits was Adair with 52-232-8
Most Golds was Nick 35-157-5

Best gold at 60yds for the sweep was Jason

Big thank you to Lyn, Lotty, Jenna, Trevor, Donald and Jason for their invaluable help last night. You made the visit of the kids from our twin town of Plattling to Ettrick Forest archers such a success.
