SUNDAY 6/9/26 hires don’t sorry CAN’T start til 2pm

It’s that time of year again when the roads around us are shut for this PROFIT making event .. and the local businesses are forced to close and get no compensation from organisers

Like every year I just look on it positively as a day off / long lie in and start at 2pm when roads re open BUT is this really fair? I’d love peoples thoughts not just for my business but for all the businesses effected

It’s been a lovely weekend at loch. Lots of folk on holiday in the Borders and D and G and lots of locals too.
I’m up here tomorrow Monday 24th 10-4 if anyone has a day off ??

Starting to sell off ex hire kit. I have the SUPER SUP up now for £400. It’s brand new on water this year. It comes with 3 fins for £400 You can buy pump and paddles as extras

Tandem kayak will be up for sale for £400 too. Paddles can be purchased separately

I’m keeping all the single kayaks so none of these available

I have 3 large paddle board dry bags that have been in the shed ..£10 each or 3 for £25 .. new with tags

I’ve been up at the Loch everyday since Thursday. It was great having Beyond Earlston and Rowlands of Selkirk coming up for one of their summer trips, lots of small group / family hires and weekend finished off with a party of 15 enjoying our kit in the rain last night.

McKenzie set up everything last night as I was on site in Coldstream til 1700 , look how organised he had the trailer 😃.
