A huge well done to everyone who took part in the tournament, you should all be so proud! It’s amazing to see how far everyone has come in such a short space of time. The improvement, confidence and competitive spirit has been brilliant to watch!

𝙍𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨! 🏓

It's always a pleasure to see great local initiatives coming to fruition in Selby, and I’ll always do what I can to support them along the way. Selby Padel Court is a great example of this, and I went down there recently to try my hand 👀

Alex Jackson has worked incredibly hard to get these courts up and running, and they're now operational, giving people somewhere to meet up, stay active and try something new.

I was pleased to add my support through the planning process, and I'd encourage everyone to get down there and give it a try! (Mirror selfies not mandatory... 😂)

We are pleased to announce that the beginning of our Junior Coaching Programme is now live to book on Playtomic 🎾

We’ll be running 6 Junior Intro to Padel sessions over the first 4 weeks for:

Ages 6-9 & Ages 14-17 - Starting Tuesday 8th September

Ages 10-13 - Starting Tuesday 15th September

A fixed Junior Coaching & Junior Intro to Padel schedule will be announced soon to suit demand.

Back to back tournaments on Sunday 🎾

Our Mixed Tournament brought plenty of competitive rallies, big points as always! Huge well done to everyone who took part, you made it a brilliant morning!

And a special shout-out to our First Ladies Tournament straight afterwards 🤍 We may have completely forgotten to get a photo 📸😂 but that definitely doesn’t mean you deserve any less recognition!

We’re lucky to have the best neighbours. 💙

Just next door to us, Brayton Community Centre are hosting their Brayton Summer Showcase on Sunday 16th August, and it’s shaping up to be a brilliant afternoon for the whole family.

With live music, local artists, stalls, food & drink, a free bouncy castle and more, it’s a fantastic way to support local talent and the community. Best of all… it’s free to attend!

If you’re around, we’d definitely recommend popping by and showing them some love.
