Selby Jubilee Badminton Club is a friendly club, of mixed ability, playing at Brayton Academy, Selby. The club started in 1977, and today we have membership from a few Students through to adults. The club has teams in the York League, but we always maintain Club nights on a Thursday for members to mix and play Ladies, Men's or Mixed doubles. Club nights are quite relaxed, where we want to have a laugh, and play a bit of sport, in friendly company. 3 members are qualified coaches and will give advice to anyone who wants it. On a club night we all take turns to play, and try to mix up abilities so that everyone benefits.

At present, club nights take place at Read School, Drax, due to exams taking place at Brayton Academy.

Badminton will switch to Read School, Drax from Thursday 1st May for 8 weeks due to school exams at Brayton. Usual 7-10pm.
