The Leveller Road Bike TT Results

Our final event of the season was a road bike special with all aero aids being banned (except deep wheels, narrow bars, skin suits, aero socks, aero road helmets, padded bras, aero bellies etc.)

Some amaxingly quick times posted and just one angry motorist - apologies to Karl Clemets if your time is out, we were dealing with said angry motorist as you finished.

Thanks to all riders who came along this year, but even bigger thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this happen.

🚴‍♀️💙 What a day for Selby Tandems! 🦢

Today we completed our first ever sportive – The 3 Swans! 🎉

There was sunshine, rain and plenty of wind, but there were also lots of smiles, determination and a real sense of achievement. From the great food at the feed stop to the amazing welcome we received back in Selby, it was a truly special day.

For Selby Tandems, days like today mean so much more than simply completing a ride. We provide opportunities for people with disabilities to get involved in cycling, to experience the freedom of being out on a bike, to challenge themselves and, most importantly, to be part of the cycling community. 💙

Seeing our riders take on a sportive like The 3 Swans is something we can be incredibly proud of. It shows what can happen when people are given the opportunity, encouragement and support to get involved. ❤️

A huge thank you to our amazing pilots and outriders who gave up their time to ride with us and made today possible. We couldn't do it without you. 🙌

And a massive thank you to Velo29 for welcoming us onto the event and for the fantastic support both prior and throughout the day.

Our first sportive, but hopefully not our last. Here's to many more miles, adventures and memories together! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️💙

Another fabulous evening on the tandems with our biggest turnout yet, six tandems, one solo rider and five outriders!

A huge thank you to everyone who gives up their time each week to support Selby Tandems. Whether you’re piloting a tandem, riding as an outrider, or helping behind the scenes, you’re making cycling more accessible and helping more people enjoy the freedom and friendship that cycling brings.

There’s also a real buzz of excitement, with several of our members looking forward to taking part in their first sportive this Sunday. We can’t wait to see everyone at the start line and are incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved already.

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Whether you’d like to pilot a tandem or come along and ride as an outrider, your support can make a real difference in helping more people experience the joy of cycling.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thank you!

A huge thank you to everyone for your continued support of Selby Tandems. We had another great ride last night, and it’s fantastic to see everyone enjoying being out together. 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

Some of our members are now looking forward to taking part in their first event at the Selby 3 Swans Sportive, which is a brilliant milestone and a great example of what can be achieved when we work together to make cycling more inclusive and accessible.

We really couldn’t make any of this happen without the time, encouragement and support of our wonderful volunteers. Thank you!

Drax 10m TT Results 29-7-26

A surprisingly blustery night still saw some great times delivered by the riders but made sure the course record stayed safe. Sadly a defective tyre meant Mark Rowland couldn't challenge for the win and had to take the night off with a DNS.

On a much better night for Time Trialling than football there were cracking times ridden by everyone tonight with a great battle for the top 3 TT bikes. Well done to all riders.

Thanks to the volunteers for making this happen Chris Dugher Mark Rowland Steve Gelder Bibhash Dash Jimmy Willoughby , without them it wouldn't take place. If you haven't taken a week off riding to help out why not give it a go, we pay in warm fuzzy feelings for doing good things.
